Studio of Excellence Award

On February 18th, The Next Step Dance Company competed at Backstage Performing Arts Dance Competition. We not only had a rewarding weekend with exciting performances and top scores, we were presented the ADCC (Associations of Dance Competition & Conventions) Studio of Excellence Award. The studio of excellence award is determined by each participating ADCC member competition and is given to a studio of their choice that best exemplifies the values of the ADCC, which includes working together and striving for excellence. Our studio will now be listed in the studio affiliate directory and in the ADCC magazine. We were honored to be selected among our peers and contemporaries! I do want to thank all of our students, dance families and the staff for showing our best side during a competition. This is exactly what we strive for as a member of MTJGD, because our goals are about "More Than Just Great Dancing", it's our values and teamwork!

We are also proud to announce that our Mini Dance Company won “Most Entertaining 10 and Under Group Award” (see photo). Our "Conga Cuties" not only had a clean performance but they had such a wonderful time on stage! We can't wait to see where our littlest competitors will go! Keep working hard on your technique dancers and keep those dreams alive! Congratulations to Miss Crystal as well, choreographer, "Conga Cuties"!!!
